When dealing with the technological issues, both candidates plans and ideas are completely different. These two ideas are not only coming from two different political party sides but also from two totally different aged men. One is younger and is more aware of the advances in technology, and one is not, and would rather have man with man converstion instead of computer screen with computer screen. In these next two paragraphs you will learn what they are planning to do, what develpoments they want to make, and how they feel about these types of issues.
John McCain has mentioned before that he doesnt know how to use the computer nearly as well as he should. Even though he may not use the computer his plans for technology will in no way retrict or hold back anyone from being on the internet. When asked if he would restrict pornography sites he answered "Absolutely not". He later mentioned that it is really bad to do that and it needs to be addressed very soon but he would never police the internet and tell people what or what not they can do. In 1999 John McCain introduced the bill "No Government Control Over Computer Encryption". This bill legalized the use and development of encryption, but prohibits the government from requiring the key, and also it prohibits the export of any encryption product.
Barack Obama has created and co-sponsored many plans and bills but one of them is called "Google for Government". "Google for Government" lists every single dollar of federal spending so the taxpayers are able to know where all of their money is going. Obama says that he will prepare our children for a 21st century economy through computers, use technology and science together to solve problems and make discoveries, and also as President he says that he will ensure a open internet.
