Importance of 3 Science Issues

GLOBAL WARMING/ENVIROMENT:
I believe that the importance of dealing with the enviroment and global warming is a very big thing. The results of not addressing these issues can be so drastic, as to destroying the planet. Personally I believe that it is just one of earths cycles, exactly like the ice age, instead this time the tempurature is increasing, not going down. Of course all of the pollution and the green house gases arn't slowing it down one bit. But one piece of trash on the ground will cause harm, but it doesn't have hardly anything to do with global warming. I believe that if we decrease the pollution and harmful gases then that might give us more time, but it will not stop it. Even thought it will only slow down the process I still think that it is very important to take care of our enviroment and not to litter, because you never know if a poor little turtle will eat your piece of trash and start choking on it and die. All because of you.

NUCLEAR WEAPONS:
Nuclear Weapons are definately a huge deal, expecially in this day in age. With all of the nuclear weapons being produced by the United States enemies, I cant see how people dont think that it is that important. It seems like now all that people are worried about is what is happening to their money and where will it be going, and no one is worrying about one of the most important issues facing the U.S.. That is why nuclear weapons and other topics are being pushed to the back burner, because it doesn't have anything to do with your money, but if some crazy terrorist was to come and blow your bank with all of your money, then that might have a big impact on you. Even though I am sure that if a terrorist was to come to blow up things, the first thing on his mind probably wouldnt be your bank, but instead you. And that would definatley have a big effect on you.

OFFSHORE DRILLING:
I believe that offshore drilling is a very talked about subject, and most of the time, people know what they are talking about. The importance of this subject is if there was no more gas left and no alternative fuel, America wouldn't last one week. Having gas to fill our cars and heat our house is a very important issue. And also it can make a big difference between 2.50 a gallon and 4.50 a gallon when you have to fill up a large, gass gussling vehicle.
